A leading engineering firm is currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Project Manager to join their team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing multimillion-dollar roadway and highway projects that play a crucial role in transportation infrastructure and community connectivity. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for:
Leading and coordinating design and implementation teams, ensuring the timely and efficient execution of design tasks by qualified designers.
Collaborating with local authorities, stakeholders, and clients to ensure seamless project execution
Assisting in the development of project proposals, scope definition, and budget estimations tailored to roadway and highway infrastructure needs
Monitoring project progress, budgets, and timelines to ensure efficient and cost-effective completion while meeting transportation and regulatory requirements
The ideal candidate for the Senior Project Manager position should possess the following qualifications:
Professional Engineer (PE) license in Michigan
Minimum of 4 years of experience in project management focused on roadway/highway
Proficient in MicroStation and OpenRoads to mentor/guide design engineers
- Oversight experience of junior/mid level engineers
