We are working with a global process automation and metering MNC to look for a Regional Sales Manager in Malaysia. The incumbent will be responsible for expanding the water & utility industry in Malaysia, predominantly focusing on water leakage detection and telemetry applications.

Location: Anywhere in Malaysia
Responsibilities:
- Manage and expand business across water and utility firms in Malaysia and SEA
- Responsible for all sales, marketing and consulting services with current and prospective clients
- Develop and implement a regional sales strategy to achieve sales targets and expand market share.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.
- Responsible for all bids and proposals
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of water leakage meter products and their applications.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Business or any relevant discipline
- 8+ years of domestic Malaysia or Regional Sales in water/utility industry
- Proven track record in selling water instrument / meter / solutions to public utilities / water / infrastructure industry
- Familiarity in Leak Detection and/or Telemetry applications would be preferred (not a must)
- Consultative and solution selling approach will be preferred
- Established relations and contacts at decision making level within Malaysia's Water Sector.
- Sound knowledge in industrial automation hardware and software such as Enterprise SCADA, RTU, PLC, Analytical software etc.)
