Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Traveling Project Manager to oversee the construction of hyperscale data centers. This role requires extensive travel to various project sites, ensuring that each project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead and manage all aspects of hyperscale data center construction projects from initiation to completion.
- Team Coordination: Collaborate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Budget Oversight: Develop and maintain project budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
- Schedule Management: Create and manage project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all milestones.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality control measures to guarantee the highest standards of construction.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns.
- Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the construction of data centers or similar large-scale facilities.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Certifications: PMP, LEED, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
- Travel: Willingness to travel extensively to various project sites as needed.
