Senior Automation & Controls Engineer
Are you an experienced Automation & Controls Engineer looking for diverse technical challenges? We're seeking a highly skilled professional to lead automation projects in chemical, power, food & beverage, and pharmaceutical manufacturing. This role involves designing and implementing cutting-edge control systems that enhance operational efficiency and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, program, and implement automation solutions using Ignition SCADA, PLCs, and HMIs.
- Lead system upgrades and modernizations, integrating safety mechanisms and optimizing industrial processes.
- Provide PLC/HMI/DCS programming and troubleshooting for new and existing control systems.
- Oversee the design and development of control panel schematics and construction documentation.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and clients to ensure project success.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Stay updated on emerging automation technologies and best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in industrial automation and controls engineering.
- Hands-on experience with Ignition SCADA (required).
- Strong proficiency in PLC and HMI programming (Rockwell Automation, Siemens, Omron, etc.).
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus, Profinet).
- Experience with SCADA development and real-time monitoring solutions.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
