A reputable Heavy Civil General Contractor is currently seeking talented Superintendents for upcoming projects throughout the state of Colorado. Ninety-five percent (95%) of their projects have been in Colorado for the last 6+ years but they do chase work throughout the region so the ideal candidate must be willing to travel.
Salary Range: $110,000 - $125,000
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan and supervise craft activities - includes determining method of construction, manpower levels, material quantities, equipment, work schedule and more.
- Coordinate assigned work with different crafts, company departments, or other contractors.
- Monitor craft compliance with project safety program and environment requirements; document and ensure corrective measures are implemented.
- Maintain liaison with other departments to ensure all required materials, equipment, inspections, etc., support craft activities and project schedule.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental requirements.
- Complete other assignments as assigned by your direct supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 8 years of supervisory and industry experience.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills essential.
- Skilled in assuming responsibility and reaching deadlines.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Must be willing and able to travel
