Job Title: Substation Physical Manager
Job Summary: The Substation Physical Manager oversees the physical design, construction, and maintenance of substation facilities. This role ensures that all physical aspects of substations, including structures, equipment, and layout, are designed and maintained to meet operational, safety, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the physical design and layout of substation projects, including site preparation, equipment placement, and structural design.
- Coordinate with engineering teams to integrate physical design with electrical and control systems.
- Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of substation facilities to ensure reliability and safety.
- Develop and implement standards and procedures for substation physical design and maintenance.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure successful project execution.
- Provide technical guidance and support to construction and maintenance teams.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations (e.g., IEEE, NESC, OSHA).
