Job Title: Mid-Level Commissioning Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mid-Level Commissioning Engineer to join our dynamic team in New Jersey, Hoboken office with projects on the Jersey Shore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all systems and components of our projects are designed, installed, tested, operated, and maintained according to the operational requirements. This role involves working closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure the successful completion of projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement commissioning plans, procedures, and checklists.
Conduct and document inspections, tests, and verifications of installed systems and equipment.
Collaborate with design and construction teams to identify and resolve commissioning issues.
Review project specifications, drawings, and documentation to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
Prepare comprehensive commissioning reports and present findings to clients and stakeholders.
Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and project teams.
Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed during commissioning activities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, or a related field.
3-8 years of experience in commissioning, testing, and validation of mechanical and electrical systems.
Strong knowledge of industry standards and best practices for commissioning.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with clients and colleagues.
Proficiency in commissioning software and tools.
Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
Experience with sustainable building practices and LEED commissioning.
Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) software.
