Position Overview: As a Professional Geologist, you will play a crucial role in managing hydrogeologic and environmental projects. Your knowledge of Pennsylvania regulations, technical writing skills, and ability to oversee quality assurance will be essential in driving project success.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage hydrogeologic and environmental projects from start to finish.
Ensure compliance with Pennsylvania's Land Recycling Act 2 Program and Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs).
Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Perform quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) tasks efficiently and accurately.
Collaborate with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Prepare and review technical reports, proposals, and presentations.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior staff and project managers.
Ensure adherence to company and client-mandated safety rules and practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in geology, hydrogeology, environmental science, or a related field.
Pennsylvania PG (Professional Geologist) License required.
6-10 years of proven experience in hydrogeologic and/or environmental consulting.
Proficient understanding of Pennsylvania's Land Recycling Act 2 Program and Phase I ESAs.
Strong technical writing skills with a focus on accuracy and efficiency in QA/QC tasks.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work extended hours when needed.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
