Job Summary: Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Structural Design Engineer to join their team in Texas. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing the construction of various structural projects, ensuring they meet all safety, durability, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and prepare calculations, structural drawings, and specifications for construction projects.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to design cost-effective structural solutions.
- Use computer-aided design (CAD) software and structural analysis tools to create detailed designs.
- Conduct site inspections and evaluations to monitor construction and ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on project progress and findings.
- Ensure all designs and constructions comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in Texas.
- Proficiency in structural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SAP2000).
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in structural design engineering.
