Senior Project Manager
Primary Responsibilities:
The Senior Project Manager will oversee all aspects of asbestos, lead, mold, and other industrial hygiene projects. This includes client interactions, proposal generation, budget management, and the creation of final reports and remediation specifications. The role requires achieving 100% of billable revenue targets and maintaining strong client relationships to expand the customer base.
Key duties include:
- Business development to engage, retain, and maintain client relationships.
- Conducting on-site surveys, inspections, assessments, abatement oversight, and monitoring safety procedures and regulations.
- Supervising field staff and ensuring compliance with project goals and company targets.

Requirements:
- Extensive experience in industrial hygiene, environmental health and safety, and the use of common IEQ field instruments with valid certifications.
- Minimum 10 years in the environmental science industry, with at least 8 years as a Project Manager handling large and complex projects.
- Proficiency in asbestos, lead, mold, moisture, air quality, and water intrusion.
- Established client relationships from successfully managing their projects.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in project design and using design software.
- Competence in necessary computing software.
- Valid driver's license, automobile insurance, acceptable driving record, and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to travel and flexibility in schedule.
Licenses:
- Required: Valid state of Illinois Building Inspector, Asbestos Project Supervisor/Project Manager, Lead Inspector, Air Sampling Professional (ASP).
- Preferred: Certified Industrial Hygienist, Asbestos Building Designer.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders and stairs, and stand or sit for extended periods.
- Annual medical exams and respirator fit tests.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new programs efficiently.
