Project Development Executive
Join LVI Associates' project development team as a Project Development Executive. This leadership role involves assessing, analyzing, designing, and communicating technical solutions for complex energy and operations challenges. Responsibilities:
Lead a team of internal engineering and development team members to create impactful, implementable projects.
Guide proposal development teams in responding to project RFPs.
Manage development schedules, budgets, and subcontractors/consultants.
Build and manage senior-level client relationships.
Oversee the technical, financial, and contractual aspects of projects in detail.
Identify, develop, and propose technical solutions.
Review and oversee engineering calculations and designs.
Prepare project implementation cost estimates through detailed vendor bid processes and internal cost buildups.
Develop project financial models and help structure financing to meet client goals.
Structure, negotiate, and close customer agreements.
Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate project risks.
Location Preference: Northern VA, Washington DC metro area.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline; a master's degree in business or engineering is preferred.
At least ten years of progressively responsible business management experience, emphasizing major project development for energy conservation in MUSH, C&I, or federal government markets, project finance, utility regulation, and construction.
Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing, multi-disciplinary teams.

Hybrid Work Model: Most of our team operates in a remote or hybrid workplace model that optimizes a combination of virtual and in-person interactions. We are intentional when co-locating with each other and our clients for maximum impact, while empowering our people to preserve the flexibility they desire. Some team members may need to be onsite at client locations, so the ability to travel is expected and varies by role. Our hybrid model benefits our people and the environment by reducing travel and commuting time, aiding in the reduction of our carbon footprint. Our standard operation hours are typically 8am to 5pm EST, with flexibility to adapt to meeting times scheduled in EST.
Wages + Salary: The salary range for this position starts at $160,000 annually. LVI Associates considers various factors when making compensation decisions, including skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Please note that this is a general estimate and does not incorporate adjustments for geographic location. Typically, starting salaries are determined based on individual qualifications and experience and may fall below the top end of the range. Additionally, you may qualify for our annual bonus program, which is discretionary and based on your performance and the company's overall success.
