Position Overview:
The Operations Manager will oversee all aspects of their construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in water and sewer line projects and will be a strong leader, capable of managing teams and driving operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations and ensure efficient project execution.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to maintain project timelines and budgets.
- Oversee compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports for management.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and team collaboration.
Experience Needed:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management within the construction industry.
- Proven experience with water and sewer line installation and related utility projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction practices, safety standards, and regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications Needed:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Certification in safety management (OSHA, etc.) is a plus.
