Title: Water/Wastewater Project Manager
Location: Chicago, Illinois
Salary: $100,000 - $150,000

A leading employee-owned engineering and environmental consulting firm is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Manager to join their team in Chicago. Dedicated to improving communities and the environment, this role focuses on managing water infrastructure projects, including planning, design, bid support, and construction management. As a key team member, you'll help drive the success of impactful municipal and private-sector initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Review technical reports and submittals.
- Lead comprehensive design efforts and conduct field observations.
- Manage client relationships and coordinate with external stakeholders and technical sub-consultants.
- Provide mentorship and leadership to project teams.
- Handle additional tasks as required to ensure project success.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering (MS preferred).
- PE License in Illinois (or ability to obtain).
- 7-15+ years of experience managing and designing water/wastewater projects.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D preferred.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
