Our client is seeing a MicroStation technician to join their team in Orlando, FL. The firm is well established, having completed project across the state, and has a healthy project backlog. The group has major growth targets in the coming year as they seek to expand their footprint.
Qualifications:
- Must have working experience with MicroStation based systems
- 2+ years of MicroStation/ORD experience in survey or transportation engineering related fields
- Minimum of high school or technical school training with courses in computer-aided drafting or equivalent experience
- All activities will be under the direct supervision of a licensed Surveyor, Project Manager or Professional Engineer, utilizing a variety of software packages including MicroStation
Responsibilities:
- Play an integral role in preparing computer-generated survey drawings, according to established standards and procedures, from field collected data using CAD software
- Prepares and/or revises MicoStation generated utility investigation plan sets collected data using Bentley MicroStation software suits
- Completes simple calculations from Engineering staff specific instructions
- Assists with comparing field gathered data versus Survey collected data
- Candidate can also read, interpret, and incorporate utility record research data from various utility owner's plans and documents
- Well organized with outstanding work ethic, works well with a dynamic and highly efficient team
- Maintains schedules and progress reports for self-performed work
