Job Description: My client is seeking a talented and motivated Mechanical Engineer with expertise in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and managing MEP projects for various building types, including commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop MEP systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Perform load calculations, equipment selection, and system layout.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to integrate MEP systems into overall project designs.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure project quality and adherence to specifications.
- Prepare detailed engineering reports, drawings, and specifications.
- Provide technical support during construction and commissioning phases.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP design and project management.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant software.
- Strong knowledge of building codes and standards.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
