We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Mechanical Design Engineer II who is excited about contributing to design-build and design-assist projects across diverse markets including healthcare, education, biotech, mission critical facilities, commercial sectors as well as entertainment. This permanent role based out of Dulles VA, or Richmond (or remote) offers an opportunity for professional growth with potential remote work arrangements.
**Role Overview:**
- Take part in creating comprehensive mechanical systems for various high-profile construction projects.
- Collaborate closely within multi-disciplinary teams throughout all project stages from concept through completion.
- Utilize state-of-the-art technology and methodologies to innovate building services solutions tailored towards client needs.
**Required Skills & Expertise:**
- Four-year degree in Engineering or related field
- 3-4 years experience
- PE License preferred
- In-depth knowledge of applicable systems design, such as HVAC, plumbing, etc., as well as general understanding of system operations
- Ability to read mechanical and plumbing plans
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Strong computer skills, including CADD and Microsoft Office Products, such as Excel
