Job Purpose:
As a Utility Foreman, you will supervise and coordinate construction, installation, and repair activities, ensuring projects are completed safely and accurately according to plans.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee construction efforts to meet design, budget, and schedule requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and other contractors.
- Plan and sequence work activities, ensuring resources are ready.
- Select materials that meet project standards and building codes.
- Assign tasks to crew members and monitor performance.
- Inspect work for quality and compliance with safety standards.
- Train new workers on equipment, tools, and safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of time and materials.
- Report any issues or schedule challenges to management.
- Enforce safety regulations and company policies.
- Ensure proper care and maintenance of equipment.
- Foster a cooperative work environment.
- Perform additional duties as needed.
Position Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, plus specialized training.
- Experience: At least 5 years in construction trades.
- Certifications:
- Valid Driver's License
- Safety Certifications
- Medical Examiner's Certificate
