Job Description: They are looking for a skilled and experienced Estimator with a strong background in Project Management, MEP systems, and Environmental work. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, managing project budgets, and ensuring the successful execution of projects from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects, including MEP and environmental components.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop project budgets and timelines.
- Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to understand project requirements.
- Conduct site visits and assessments to gather necessary information for accurate estimating.
- Identify and evaluate potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Manage and track project costs, ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines.
- Provide support in the preparation of bids and proposals.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and construction methods.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating, project management, MEP systems, and environmental work.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and methods.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
