A consulting Mechanical/Electrical/Technology engineering firm is seeking a skilled Electrical Designer or Engineer with experience in the industry as a project designer, engineer, or project manager. References supporting past experiences are needed.
Candidates should be well-versed in electrical power, lighting, fire alarm, and building systems for institutional and commercial buildings, and have experience using Revit and AutoCAD for drafting and design.
Typical Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed design work.
- Work with 3D Revit and 2D CAD.
- Complete project designs, drawings in 3D Revit and/or 2D CAD, site observations, specifications, calculations, equipment selection and application, correspondence, surveys, code studies, and construction administration as necessary.
- Senior-level employees will interface directly with clients and end users to understand and document expectations and lead the project during design and construction.
Requirements:
- High attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, etc.).
- PE license preferred
- Good people skills, ability to be a team player, and a great attitude are essential.
