Key Responsibilities:
- Independently design and model power and lighting systems for commercial, industrial, and data center facilities
- Execute design tasks as assigned by lead engineers
- Compile design drawings and documents, and manage their delivery
- Use software tools to perform a wide range of engineering calculations and generate reports
- Prepare and coordinate parts of the design effort and project scope requirements
- Enhance interaction with project managers, external design teams, and information management
- Pursue professional and technical development goals to achieve PE certification
- Mentor designers
- Engage in professional development and training
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 4-6 years of experience with an electrical design firm or design-build electrical contractor
- Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office applications, AutoCAD, MEP/REVIT, and Etap/SKM (preferred)
- Strong time management, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification is preferred
