A growing, industry-leading consulting firm is looking to bring on a Transmission System & Markets Engineer to join the team! This position will support and lead the growing Energy Markets & Modeling group, working on projects across the US, with the ability to work 100% remote or out of the firm's Boston, MA office.
The Transmission System & Markets Engineer should have the following qualifications:
- BSEE or equivalent/relevant degree
- 3-5+ years of direct experience
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, R, C#, VBA, or similar)
- Proficiency in database knowledge (MS Access, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL)
- Background in electric power systems/electricity markets & understanding of power flow/market modeling tools
