They're seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Building Envelope Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in forensic investigations, with a focus on roofing systems and building envelopes. This role requires a strong understanding of building materials, construction methods, and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex structural issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Investigation and Analysis: Conduct thorough forensic investigations of roofing and building envelope failures to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
Project Management: Oversee and manage multiple projects, ensuring timely and accurate completion of investigations and reports.
Client Interaction: Communicate findings and recommendations to clients in a clear and professional manner, providing expert advice and support.
Technical Documentation: Prepare detailed reports, including investigation findings, analysis, and recommendations for remediation.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all investigations and reports adhere to industry standards and best practices.
Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including architects, engineers, and legal professionals, to provide comprehensive solutions to clients.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in forensic engineering, with a focus on roofing systems and building envelopes.
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in engineering software and tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
