Position Summary:
They're seeking a skilled Building Envelope Consultant to join their dynamic team in Houston, Texas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building envelope consulting, with significant experience in investigating and analyzing building envelope failures. This role involves conducting detailed investigations, preparing comprehensive reports, and providing expert recommendations for remediation.
Key Responsibilities:
Forensic Investigation: Conduct thorough forensic investigations of roofing and building envelope failures, identifying root causes and contributing factors.
Project Management: Oversee and manage multiple projects, ensuring timely and accurate completion of investigations and reports.
Report Preparation: Prepare detailed reports outlining investigation findings, methodologies, and recommendations for remediation.
Client Communication: Communicate findings and solutions effectively to clients, providing expert advice and support.
Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and stakeholders to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all investigations and reports adhere to industry standards and best practices.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Building Envelope Consulting, with a focus on building envelopes and roofing systems.
Licenses: Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
Skills:
