Responsibilities
- Lead and Develop the Sales Team: Oversee, train, and mentor the sales team to achieve or surpass annual targets.
- Strategic Alignment: Ensure teams are aligned with future growth objectives and strategic priorities.
- Sales and Delivery Synchronization: Collaborate with project delivery leaders and Business Line leaders to coordinate sales and delivery efforts effectively.
- Client Relationship Management: Foster and maintain strong relationships with key clients, striving for continuous improvement in client service and satisfaction.
- Promote a Learning Organization: Take the steps to teach and coach to enhance organizational learning.
- Leadership in Business Planning: Contribute to the Transportation Group's annual planning for sales, revenue, utilization, and profitability.
- Talent Management: Drive staff retention, engagement, recruitment, and professional development to support long-term growth.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience.
- Experience: At least 15 years of relevant professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Growth Leadership: Demonstrated success in growing a transportation sales and/or delivery team.
- Client Network: Strong relationships within the transportation sector across the southwest, mountain, and Pacific regions.
- Strategic Market Experience: Experience in market strategy development, prepositioning, and participating in key and mega pursuit teams.
- Team Management: Prior experience managing a transportation sales team effectively.
