Role: Water Resources/Drainage Project Engineer
Location: Denver, CO
Salary: $100,000 - $150,000

Key Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, and manage stormwater drainage systems, including storm sewers, detention basins, and natural water channels.
- Develop and review hydraulic and hydrologic models to support sustainable water management practices.
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and public agencies to ensure project goals are met on schedule.
- Prepare technical reports, construction plans, and specifications for drainage and water resources projects.
- Conduct site assessments, field inspections, and hydrologic evaluations as needed.
- Stay informed about local and federal regulations related to water resources, floodplain management, and environmental standards.
What We're Looking For
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years in drainage, stormwater management, or a similar field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in hydrologic/hydraulic modeling software (e.g., HEC-RAS, SWMM, or similar) and CAD tools.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations for water quality and floodplain management.
- Teamwork and Communication: Strong interpersonal and written skills to convey complex engineering concepts to team members, clients, and stakeholders.
- Certifications: P.E. Licensed in the State of Colorado.
