Role: Water Resources Group Leader
Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)
Salary: $140k - $185k

My client is seeking a Water Resources Group Leader Atlanta, GA. As a Leader at you will lead multiple public and private sector projects, clients, and a team of experienced engineers and designers across our entire portfolio. Projects include, but are not limited to: green infrastructure, erosion and sediment control, watershed, BMP, stormwater, environmental restoration and stabilization, and hydraulics/hydrology.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, develop, and deliver world class design solutions to our existing portfolio of public/private sector water resources customers
- Maintain, develop, and enhance customer relationships while marketing services in water resources
- Mentor, build, and develop a team of highly skilled engineers and future project managers
- Proactively deliver a wide range of water resource projects including stream remediation, scour analysis, storm water systems, flood studies, watershed plans, and erosion/sediment control, in accordance with the scope, schedule, and budget set by the project manager.
- Develop, evaluate complex stormwater management facilities to support commercial, industrial, residential, or public works infrastructure projects across vast portfolio
- Provide excellent client services with a focus on quality and timeliness
- Meet and work directly with other design team members including project manager, project engineers, design technicians, drafters, surveyors, contractors, inspectors, public agency officials, and clients.
- Serve as subject matter expert on civil engineering plans and design reviews in: AutoDesk Civil3D, MicroStation, In Roads and GIS while applying knowledge of local, state, and federal design standards
- Detail project analysis and prepare permit applications for oversight agencies to address the full range of environmental issues and conditions associated with water resources projects.
Required Skills and Experience
- 12+ years of experience in environmental stormwater management, green infrastructure, and stream project management
- Excellent Communication skills and attention to details with a team-work attitude is a must
- Proficient in preparation of construction plans and specifications,
- Floodplain analysis utilizing HEC-RAS software,
- Previous experience with MicroStation, AutoCAD, and GIS
- Bachelor's Degree in civil or environmental engineering (or similar)
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) License in the State of Georgia
