They are currently seeking a Water Resources Engineer with a focus on transportation-related stormwater management to join their team. This is a hybrid position, offering the flexibility to work both remotely and from the office, with a 40-45 hour work week and compensatory time off for any overtime.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement stormwater management systems for transportation infrastructure, including roads, highways, and transit projects.
- Develop site designs, manage erosion and sediment control plans, and incorporate best practices for stormwater management in transportation projects.
- Coordinate the procurement of state and local permits required for transportation-related projects, including MSHA and MDOT.
- Act as a point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and efficient project coordination.
- Prepare detailed design plans, engineering reports, and technical specifications for transportation-focused water resources systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 4-10 years of relevant experience in water resources and stormwater management, with a focus on transportation infrastructure.
- PE in Maryland required or attainable within 6 months.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation.
- Experience with MSHA (Maryland State Highway Administration) and MDOT (Maryland Department of Transportation) standards and permitting processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized, with excellent project management capabilities and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
