Overview:
Our client, a top 75 ENR-rated engineering firm, is a leader in water and wastewater infrastructure projects and is seeking an experienced Senior Associate - Water/Wastewater to join their team in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. This role will focus on leading and managing outside-the-fence conveyance design projects, overseeing project execution, and supporting business development efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in water and wastewater conveyance systems, project management, and business development within the Texas region.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the design of outside-the-fence water and wastewater conveyance systems, including pipelines, pump stations, and related infrastructure.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, with a focus on business development and expanding opportunities within the water/wastewater sector.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative engineering solutions that meet regulatory requirements and client needs.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering growth and talent development within the team.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations specific to Texas and the DFW region.
- Prepare technical proposals and presentations to support business development and secure new projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering (or a related field).
- 15-25 years of experience in water/wastewater engineering, with a strong focus on outside-the-fence conveyance design and project management.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas required.
- Extensive experience in managing and delivering complex water/wastewater projects, with a deep understanding of conveyance systems.
- Proven business development experience with the ability to cultivate relationships and generate new business opportunities.
- Knowledge of local Texas regulations and standards related to water and wastewater systems.
- Proficiency in relevant design and modeling software.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
