Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Wastewater Practice Lead Engineer to join our growing team in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. As a key leader in our firm, you will oversee and support the design, implementation, and management of wastewater systems, water treatment plant design, and water conveyance projects. Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage wastewater engineering projects from inception to completion, including design, implementation, and construction phases.
- Oversee the development and execution of water treatment plant designs and water conveyance systems.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior engineers and project teams.
- Collaborate with clients, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure project success and compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Drive the expansion of the firm's wastewater practice by identifying new business opportunities, developing client relationships, and contributing to strategic planning.
- Ensure that all projects meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and environmental sustainability.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes for the firm and clients.
- Lead project teams to develop creative, cost-effective solutions for complex wastewater and water treatment challenges.
Qualifications:
- Professional Engineer (PE) License in Texas is required.
- 10-20 years of experience in wastewater engineering, with a strong background in project design and management within Texas.
- Expertise in wastewater treatment systems, water conveyance, and water treatment plant design.
- Proven track record of managing and leading multi-disciplinary teams on complex, large-scale projects.
- In-depth knowledge of local regulations, permitting processes, and industry standards within Texas.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present and articulate technical concepts to clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience with business development and client relationship management in the engineering sector.
