Job Description:
The National Firm is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Survey CAD Technician to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in surveying and a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience using MicroStation software. As an integral member of the team, the candidate will be responsible for producing accurate technical drawings and designs tailored to surveying and transportation projects.
Responsibilities:
- Generate precise technical drawings using MicroStation for surveying and transportation projects.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, planners, and survey teams to ensure designs meet project requirements.
- Conduct field surveys and site visits to collect essential data for design development.
- Review and interpret survey data, engineering drawings, and specifications.
- Perform quality control checks on drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with project standards.
- Assist in the preparation of project documentation, reports, and deliverables.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CAD Technician in surveying or transportation projects.
- Proficiency in MicroStation and other relevant CAD tools.
- Prior experience working with Michigan transportation agencies or municipalities is preferred.
