Structural Engineer | 5+ Years Experience
We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join our team, focusing on the design and construction of a variety of structures, including medical, commercial, retail, and institutional buildings.
Position Responsibilities:
- Perform structural analysis and design for various building projects.
- Prepare design estimates, proposals, and technical reports.
- Supervise drawing production and collaborate with design teams.
- Interface with clients and conduct occasional field observations.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited U.S. university; FE registration required.
- Master's degree preferred but not required.
- Strong foundation in structural engineering principles.
- Proficiency with structural engineering software like Enercalc and RAM is beneficial.
- Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
- Familiarity with CAD and Revit software is a plus.
- Experience in analysis and design of lateral systems, seismic design, and load path understanding, including foundations, framing systems, connections, and detailing for materials such as steel, concrete, and wood.
- Applicants with up to 10 years of relevant experience will be considered.
