This permanent position offers an incredible opportunity to make your mark on pivotal water, engineering, LVI (Low Voltage Installation), and transportation projects throughout San Diego and Bay Area while getting support from the local Construction Management Director and nearby Headquarters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee construction operations ensuring compliance with design specifications
- Serve as primary liaison between clients, contractors & stakeholders
- Coordinate project activities across multiple teams
Ideal Qualifications/Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in civil engineering/construction management/related fields
- Resident engineer experience
- Proposal writing experience
- California PE (or ability to obtain within 6-12 months)
- Technical skillset/understanding in one or more of the following areas:
1. Water : Understand water infrastructure systems including planning, development.
2. Engineering: Apply advanced principles within various aspects of civil or structural engineering disciplines.
3. LVI (Low Voltage Installation): Knowledgeable about electrical systems focusing on safety & efficiency standards required during transportation-related constructions.
4. Transportation: Familiarity with designing transportation solutions that meet community needs while adhering to environmental regulations.
5. Construction Management: Ability lead large-scale construction efforts from conception through completion maintaining timelines/budgets without compromising quality/safety guidelines.
Salary range: $150,000 - $200,000
