Job Title: - Senior Medical Equipment Planner
Salary: - $110k - $140k
Location: - Remote (with travel to project sites as required)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, selection, and procurement of medical equipment for healthcare facilities across diverse projects.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to integrate medical equipment into facility designs.
- Conduct virtual consultations and occasional on-site assessments to ensure alignment with project requirements.
- Develop and manage comprehensive equipment lists, budgets, and timelines.
- Coordinate with vendors to secure pricing, specifications, and delivery schedules.
- Provide expertise and oversight to ensure equipment meets regulatory and industry standards.
- Partner with project teams throughout the design, construction, and installation phases.
- Mentor junior staff in medical equipment planning and best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- At least 6 years of experience in medical equipment planning within a consultancy AEC firm or healthcare system.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and medical equipment planning software.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare design, construction processes, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
- Flexibility to travel to project sites as required (approximately 20-30% travel).
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
