Our client is a reputable multi-disciplined engineering firm with a globally-established brand and a strong name for the quality of work they deliver to clients across a variety of markets and services. They boast access to a depth of interdisciplinary knowledge, cutting-edge laboratories and vast technical resources, which have contributed to their success in their Florida-dedicated Forensic Engineering practice.
They are actively seeking to add a senior-level Forensic Structural Engineer to their team in South Florida, who will work remotely to provide field investigations, generate reports and provide litigation support/expert witness services (as required) for a projects across: building envelope, roofing, waterproofing, cladding and stucco failures, construction and design defect analysis, moisture intrusions, fires and catastrophic losses, and storm damage assessments.
Key Credentials:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering.
- Licensed Professional Engineer in Florida.
- Other relevant credentials such as CGC, CCC, CRC, or IIBEC (RRC, RWC, REWC, RBEC etc.) seen as desirable.
- 5+ years of experience in Forensic Engineering.
- Experience providing litigation support services required - Expert Witness/Trial Testimony experience a huge plus.
- Willingness to travel around Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties for inspections.
