Our client, a utility-scale renewable energy and energy storage developer, is looking for a Senior Finance Manager to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team and drive project financial modeling, corporate modeling, project budget creation, and economic performance analysis to inform strategic decisions across the business
- Collaborate with VP and CFO
- Analyze, model and summarize economic profile of assigned portfolio of assets from initial greenfield siting through sale
- Assess economic feasibility of project acquisitions and M&A opportunities through financial modeling, diligence, and documentation
- Prepare and present executive-level reports and presentations for senior management, investment committee, and investors
- Collaborate closely with the development, engineering, origination and interconnection teams to compile and confirm project inputs and assumptions
- Support execution of capital raising activities including: preparing marketing materials, leading outreach to potential counterparties, running due diligence processes, and assisting in the negotiation of term sheets and credit agreements
- Manage letters of credit (LC) and surety bond facilities
- Mentor junior team members to foster their development
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant experience (renewables, clean tech, or related sectors); previous solar and BESS experience desirable
- 2-3 years of tax equity modeling and/or transaction modeling experience
- Bachelor's Degree required (Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering or related preferred)
- Proficient in MS Office365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S.
Location: Denver CO or Phoenix AZ is preferred; Open to Remote Work; Some Travel will be Required
