Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Estimator to join a dynamic team. This role involves preparing and submitting detailed and accurate cost estimates for large-scale electrical projects, ensuring competitive and profitable bids. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical estimating, excellent analytical skills, and a strong understanding of the electrical construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for large-scale electrical projects.
Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to develop estimates.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and competitive bids.
Review and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes.
Develop and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Provide technical guidance and support to the estimating team.
Ensure compliance with all company policies and industry regulations.
Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and project costs.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical estimating.
Extensive experience in high voltage estimating.
Strong background in mission-critical projects.
Knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
Proven track record of successfully preparing and submitting competitive bids.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
Willingness to travel as needed.
