We are seeking an experienced Senior BIM Coordinator / CADD Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of complex projects, providing innovative design solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead teams in the development of intelligent 3D models, detailed design drawings, and general arrangement layouts for complex projects, based on project design requirements and sketches.
- Review drawings and prints from manufacturers and fabricators to ensure accuracy in project documents.
- Mentor and guide junior team members by providing design sketches, technical direction, and reviewing their work to meet project needs.
- Perform material calculations and use standard engineering formulas to determine the resources required for each project phase, ensuring alignment with company standards.
- Oversee project lifecycles as the Intelligent Modeling Coordinator, ensuring seamless coordination across design teams and disciplines.
- Conduct thorough cross-checks of design models and drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal quality control standards.
- Provide input during the planning stages of projects and take a leadership role in on-site field assignments when required.
- Support engineering teams with a range of technical tasks, including preparing transmittals, managing file documentation, plotting drawings, and coordinating design specifications with drawings.
- Establish design criteria for various project phases, applying engineering principles and knowledge of construction methods, materials, and installation techniques.
Qualifications:
- Strong expertise in 3D modeling, CADD, and design for complex projects across multiple disciplines.
- Proficient in performing material calculations and coordinating between design and construction teams.
- Proven experience in leading teams and mentoring junior designers.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to ensure adherence to company standards and quality control procedures.
