The team works with both state and private clients throughout Georgia, providing solutions for new construction and resolving problems in existing buildings. With a diverse service line, including historic preservation, waterproofing, performance testing, expert witness services, trial preparation and much more, we offer a comprehensive approach to building restoration and construction.
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Building Enclosure Consultant to join our dynamic and growing team. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, leadership, and a passion for excellence in building enclosure consulting to support our design and field teams.
Responsibilities:
- Investigate and assess building enclosure issues for both new and existing structures.
- Develop detailed specifications and construction drawings for building restoration projects.
- Provide construction contract administration for roofing, exterior wall, and waterproofing projects.
- Deliver building enclosure commissioning and consulting services to clients.
- Manage client relationships and support business development efforts.
- Oversee and supervise the field technical services on assigned projects.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and documentation for projects.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Architect or Engineer.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in building construction consulting.
- Strong knowledge of building codes and industry standards.
- Experience working on commercial building construction jobsites.
- Ability to work in the field both locally and outside the local area.
- Excellent communication skills: verbal, technical, and written (including technical report writing).
- Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time and personnel effectively.
- References from previous workplaces and background check required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to travel to attend meetings and visit various office, field, and construction sites.
- Capacity to safely work in a variety of occupationally hazardous locations.
