Position: Senior Automation Specialist
We are seeking an Automation Solutions Specialist with expertise in ABB 800xA. Experience with other DCS systems, such as Honeywell Experion, will also be considered, especially if it is in the Pulp & Paper industry.
The ASenior Automation Specialistt will be responsible for implementing automation solutions across various industries and maintaining control systems to ensure efficient and safe industrial processes. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to configure control systems that enhance process performance, reliability, and safety.
Perform routine tasks and contribute to projects under technical supervision.
Design and implement process control schemes to support existing processes, including efficiency improvements, optimization, variability reduction, compliance with environmental and safety requirements, and reliability enhancements.
Configure hardware and systems.
Coordinate and implement DCS/PLC upgrades and new installations/startups.
Work with instrumentation, motor control, regulatory control loop tuning, and advanced control processes.
Assist technical groups with process improvement and troubleshooting activities.
Ensure business continuity of process control systems through documentation and training.
Provide technical and maintenance support for existing control system platforms at client facilities.
Travel up to 25% of the time may be required.

Skills & Qualifications:
3+ years of hands-on experience with the preferred systems.
