My client is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Senior Acoustic Consultant to lead their team of acoustic consultants. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the delivery of high-quality acoustic consulting services to their clients. The Principal Acoustic Consultant will be responsible for providing technical leadership and mentoring to their team of acoustic consultants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee a team of acoustic consultants, ensuring the timely and high-quality delivery of acoustic consulting services.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to the acoustic consulting team, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional acoustic solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, including managing and negotiating contracts and proposals.
- Conduct complex noise and vibration assessments for a range of projects including construction sites, transportation, industrial sites, and buildings.
- Use specialized software and equipment to measure and analyze noise and vibration levels.
- Prepare detailed technical reports outlining acoustic solutions and recommendations.
- Provide technical support to project managers, engineers, architects, and clients.
- Liaise with local authorities, stakeholders, and clients to ensure compliance with relevant noise and vibration regulations.
- Attend project meetings and provide technical input and support to team members.
- Work collaboratively with our team to develop and deliver exceptional acoustic solutions that meet our clients' needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Acoustics, Engineering, Physics, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in acoustic consulting and assessments.
- Strong knowledge of acoustic principles and their application in the built environment.
- Experience managing and leading a team of acoustic consultants.
- Experience with specialized acoustic measurement equipment and software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage and negotiate contracts and proposals.
- Experience working with clients and local authorities to ensure compliance with noise and vibration regulations.
