Position: Low Voltage Security Applications Engineer
Job Description
Our client, a leading Security Integrator, is seeking a skilled Low Voltage Security Applications Engineer to join their team. This role involves designing, installing, and maintaining advanced security systems, providing hands-on technical support both on-site and remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain low voltage security systems such as CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection.
- Provide technical support to clients and technicians.
- Estimate project hours and costs based on site visits and technical requirements.
- Develop wiring diagrams and technical documentation.
- Troubleshoot networking and circuit-related issues.
Qualifications
- Basic hands-on experience with low voltage security installations.
- Familiarity with systems like Genetec, Lenel, Honeywell, or similar.
- Genetec Certification is required.
- Understanding of series/parallel circuits and networking fundamentals.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., NICET, BICSI, or equivalent) preferred.
