This role involves providing essential support to the Sales team by coordinating projects, monitoring logistics, and working closely with Operations to ensure successful deal execution.
As a Sales Support Specialist, you will serve as a point of contact during the sales cycle, addressing customer inquiries and resolving order fulfillment issues. You will oversee the handoff of information from Sales to Operations and Logistics, ensuring alignment on deliverables and leading to seamless deal execution. Your problem-solving skills will be crucial in identifying and resolving issues related to deals, including logistics challenges and storage requirements.
You will also be responsible for coordinating project timelines and key changes with stakeholders throughout the sales cycle. Preparing quotes, purchase orders, proposals, and sales contracts with accuracy will be part of your duties. Maintaining the company's CRM with project details, timelines, documents, and key contacts is essential to ensure accurate information for internal teams. Additionally, you will identify and proactively avoid barriers that arise throughout the sales cycle and become a subject matter expert in shipping regulations regarding large format batteries.
Customer onboarding will be another key responsibility, where you will administer onboarding forms and ensure new partners are added to the company's CRM. Collaborating with the Marketing team to develop and implement targeted campaigns and generate new leads will also be part of your role. You will perform ad hoc duties as necessary to support the team.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, with prior experience in sales support, business development, or project coordination preferred but not required. Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office is preferred. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, along with the ability to engage and build rapport with stakeholders. You should be proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven, with excellent organizational and project management skills. A collaborative team player who can work closely with Sales, Operations, and Logistics teams is crucial. Attention to detail and a self-starter attitude are highly valued.
