Overview:
The Sales Manager for Medium Voltage Solutions will report directly to the President of our North American division. This role is pivotal in developing and executing strategies for medium voltage drives and motors across North America. The manager will work closely with engineering and R&D teams to create optimal solutions for our clients, collaborate with the Business Development Manager to identify growth strategies, and oversee the P&L for the electric vehicle charging segment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage existing client accounts and cultivate new business opportunities, particularly in the oil and gas sector.
- Drive order growth for medium voltage applications by closely coordinating with domestic and international teams.
- Contribute to the development of the North American product strategy.
- Implement the product road map by leveraging both internal resources and external partnerships, and collaborate with business management to secure necessary funding.
Requirements:
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to interact with clients, manage cross-functional teams, and formulate strategic plans.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience with power conversion and medium voltage solutions (drives and/or motors).
- Strong understanding of application and product solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to present technical and commercial information effectively. International experience is a plus.
- Residence in Texas is required, with preference for candidates located in Houston.
