Position Overview: Seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead roadway projects in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, particularly in roadway design and construction, and will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Coordination: Plan, direct, and coordinate all activities related to roadway projects.
- Proposal Development: Prepare and review project proposals, contracts, and fee justifications.
- Work Plan Creation: Develop detailed project work plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Financial Oversight: Monitor project budgets, review cost sheets, and prepare monthly invoices.
- Team Leadership: Direct and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, ensuring project milestones are met.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all projects adhere to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Client Interaction: Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing any project-related questions or concerns.
- Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve project roadblocks promptly.
- Documentation: Maintain organized project documentation and electronic files.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Texas Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
