We are now seeking an experienced and highly organized Residential Roofing Operations Manager to join their dynamic team and oversee day-to-day operations.
Job Overview:
As the Residential Roofing Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing the operations of our roofing projects from inception to completion. You will oversee project planning, crew management, scheduling, material procurement, and quality control, ensuring all work meets our high standards and is completed on time and within budget. This role requires a hands-on leader with a strong background in roofing and construction management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage daily roofing operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and team supervision.
- Oversee the hiring, training, and performance management of roofing crews and subcontractors.
- Develop and implement project schedules, ensuring timely delivery of roofing projects.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of materials and equipment.
- Monitor project progress and ensure all safety protocols and quality standards are followed.
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to address client concerns and ensure satisfaction.
- Prepare project reports, track KPIs, and manage budgets to maximize profitability.
- Resolve any on-site issues or delays, ensuring effective problem-solving.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in residential roofing or construction management.
- Strong knowledge of various roofing systems, installation techniques, and materials.
- Proven leadership experience in managing roofing crews and subcontractors.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and OSHA standards.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.
