Job Title: Structural Engineer- Licensed PE's and EIT's
Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Structural Engineer to join our team. The Structural Engineer will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing the construction of various structures, ensuring they are safe, durable, and compliant with relevant codes and regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, materials, and construction methods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop structural plans for buildings
- Conduct structural analysis to ensure the stability and safety of designs.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Review and approve project plans, blueprints, and materials.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
- Provide technical guidance during the construction phase and perform site inspections as needed.
- Address any structural issues or modifications required during project execution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred).
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or the ability to obtain it.
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, RISA, SAP2000).
- Strong knowledge of building codes and construction materials (concrete, steel, wood).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Experience:
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in structural design and analysis.
- Experience working on residential, commercial, or industrial projects.
- Familiarity with project management principles.
