This mid-size, multidisciplinary firm has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, innovative solutions on a diverse range of projects, including multi-million-dollar bridge rehabilitations and cutting-edge transportation systems.
As the Regional Transportation Operations Assistant Manager, you will work very closely with important clients & serve as not only the Technical Specialist, but the Project Manager on multiple complex transportation projects. Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in overseeing day-to-day operations within the regional office, ensuring that projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and meet the highest standards of quality.
* Support senior management in developing and executing strategies to drive business growth, improve operational efficiency, and reinforce the firm's position as a leader in the industry.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other key stakeholders to ensure project success and client satisfaction.
* Provide guidance to project management teams, ensuring the successful completion of projects and maintaining a focus on timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
* Contribute to the recruitment, mentoring, and development of staff, helping to foster a culture of professional growth and collaboration.
* Continuously evaluate and improve internal processes and systems to enhance project delivery and support the firm's ongoing success.
Qualifications:
* A degree in civil engineering, structural engineering, or a related field
* A minimum of 15 years of experience in the Civil industry
* PE Licensed in New York or the ability to obtain one within 6 months
* Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, staff, and stakeholders.
* Must be authorized to work in the United States
