Responsibilities:
- Maximize revenue and profitability by optimizing the use of operational resources.
- Provide precise input for monthly forecasting and financial reporting.
- Directly coordinate with clients and the regional finance team to efficiently resolve technical queries on sales invoices and adhere to credit terms.
- Ensure effective use of the ERP system (Navision).
- Assist in developing and delivering reliable forecasts, budgets, and business plans.
- Understand profit and loss calculations and basic business finance, including gross margin percentages, depreciation, capital and revenue expenditure, cash flow, overheads, etc.
Business Development and Acquisition:
- Position the company as a recognized project contractor through structured business development activities.
- Collaborate effectively with the Business Development Manager and Proposals Manager to identify and develop business opportunities within the project market sector, turning target opportunities into prospects.
- Assist in the preparation of quotations, tenders, and submissions as required in collaboration with the Proposals Manager.
- Develop and maintain a broad network of industry contacts to promote the business and maintain a high profile.
- Increase the company's involvement with existing clients, ensuring penetration at appropriate levels.
- Provide expertise on technical and commercial issues to maximize the conversion ratio from quotes to orders.
- Offer input and support to tendering and business development activities as needed.
- Develop and deliver presentations both internally and externally.
- Actively participate in and support the integration of businesses across the region, both culturally and within job functions.
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering or Naval Architecture.
- Previous experience with the installation/decommissioning of at least three floater projects.
- Significant experience in engineering and subsea installation.
- Project management experience within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Experience in managing multiple fast-paced engineering projects.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- High-level communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in the MS Office Suite and Microsoft Project.
- Singapore citizens, permanent residents (PR) in Singapore, and regional candidates are encouraged to apply.
