I am currently partnered with one of the fastest growing civil consultancies US wide. The firm have recently hit 1200 employees and show no sign of slowing down. My client are looking to add to their growing team in New Orleans as the area has become a profit center with major investment coming in. They are looking to add a project manager with a background in public works. They want this person to have experience working on water/wastewater, drainage and elements of transportation.
The ideal candidate will have:

• 4-year engineering degree in from an ABET accredited program.
• 8+ year's experience in the civil engineering field with some project management experience.
• Extensive design and construction experience in Public Works, Transportation/Roadway, Drainage, and Water/Wastewater.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong computer skills a plus including experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Micro-Station.
• Ability to lead design teams and develop new staff as needed to support team growth.
• Proven writing and design skills.
• Self-motivated, team-oriented individual with the ability to work on challenging projects in a team environment.
• Established regional network is a plus.
• Louisiana State Professional registration (Civil Engineering Preferred) is required or reciprocity within 90 days after employment.
