Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to oversee solar energy projects in Japan. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful execution of solar power projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to time lines, budget constraints, and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full project life cycle of solar energy projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution.
- Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure project goals are achieved effectively and efficiently.
- Develop project scopes, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with management and stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project time lines and budgetary targets are met.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to oversee construction activities and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Prepare and present project progress reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Foster positive relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Ensure adherence to local regulations, permits, and environmental standards throughout the project life cycle.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices to optimize project delivery and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Renewable Energy, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a Project Manager in the solar energy industry, with a successful track record of managing medium to large-scale solar projects.
- Strong understanding of solar energy technologies, project development processes, and construction practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively manage multicultural teams and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Fluent in Japanese and English, both written and verbal.
